  We totally loved this hotel. It is exactly my taste in every way. We were fortunate to explore the city from this place.

  We went here for breakfast based on a tip we got from a local. The breakfast is absolutely amazing. It was the best we had yet in Brazil. Absolutely stunning setting. There are some toys for little kids to play with which was a fantastic distraction for our youngest one. Everything was yummy! The price for breakfast is R$ 39 which is worth it.

  Had a spectacular visit. The staff are friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was great with many daily choices and they will happily make a specially requested omlet, etc. Nicely located and walkable to many stores and restaurants. The rooms are simple but comfortable and the view from the dining room is spectacular! Highly recommended.

  My husband and I have traveled all over the world and stayed in some very expensive hotels, but we picked this Pousada because it was recommended by Rick Steves. And boy, did we make the right decision!! The Pousada was clean, natural, centrally located, the staff was friendly and we felt like we are in Salvador de Bahia and not some fancy hotel in Rio. The experience was incredible. Cool breeze, great views from our room, free local breakfast...............We loved it.
