  Friendly staff, great and safe neighborhood, interesting building architecture, great prices, not the cleanest place in the world but it was a nice overall stay for one night. I met a lot of friends at their continental breakfast!

  Be aware that some of the rooms have no air-conditioning. The toilets are desperately in need of fixing (old, ugly and blocked sewage with bad odour during the day). Some windows have no locks and cannot be properly closed. You can find much better quality for less money, too long checking forms. On the other hand they have a nice bar and a good breakfast room and CCTV for safety which is good.

  A great place to stay in Rio Ipanema. Staff are super helpful and nice. The hostel has a big common area, very clean, also a bar, big kitchen, five minutes walking to the subway station, supermarkets, it's easy to go anywhere using the subway. I have been in Rio before, this is the perfect place to stay. (y)

  This is easily one of the best hostels I have ever stayed at, and I have been to 34 countries. The receptionists are friendly, helpful, and always down to chat. The rooms are quite large, and the beds are comfortable. There are lockers inside the rooms. The hostel itself is an adorable pink colour, and the 60s vibe is great. The pool and lots of outdoor seating is a huge plus. The breakfast is delicious - the coffee cake was my favourite part. The hostel is ideally located - it’s close to everything: beach, shops, and public transportation. I can not recommend this hostel enough. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Also, book the tours. Yes, they’re more pricey, but both tours that I booked through the hostel were amazing. The one that I booked outside was horrible. Amazing value.
