::I was disappointed with the overall experience from the check in thru the check out. I asked for a higher floor and was told that they were only clear up to the 9th floor. I waited for 2 hours to get a higher floor, one of the reasons I chose this hotel. Upon my return, they gave the 9th floor. My key had to be reprogrammed 4 times, during my 7 day stay. I was jumped by the person that controls the breakfast entrance because I carried out a bottle of yogurt. Although he apologized when told that it was not appreciated, he said that some customers take stuff out. Not a cheap hotel for a cheap and petty controls. The last time I reprogrammed my room key, they had a 10 people line, it was at 12 am. The next morning I had to go to the front desk for check out and they charged me for a guest’s. Realças-te, which was ok, but did not give credit for the breakfast that I did not have the day of check out. Left the hotel at 4:30 and they only opens at 7 am. I’m not returning. Plenty of options.

::Nice modern hotel, great location (better than some other hotels around in many ways, I must say). A good mall just across the street, so you actually have the option to eat in the hotel or just cross the street for more options on pretty much everything from eating to shopping. The ROOM SAVED the stay. I LOVED IT! INCREDIBLE VIEW! (I could’ve taken a better photo, lol) COMFY! AND IT IS WHAT MAKES IT WORTH IT. Also, I really liked the way they adapted the catering/breakfast during the pandemic. Good job there. The selection of food was very nice and presentation was great too. Well done. There is nothing else to say for the rest (swimming pool, etc) as it is closed due to the pandemic. I booked a LUXURY DOUBLE ROOM and it was perfect (although the robes looked second hand and one was “faulty”) Now what I did NOT like: the communication and level of sensibility during the booking and arrival. I will not go into details on here but if you are an English speaking person make sure you make everything extremely clear otherwise you might have a bit of stress. I speak both languages but tend to communicate in English and still... I’ll give them credit for doing their best to make it up to us once I arrived, specially the manager, Mrs. Brito. Thank you.

::I spent there 5 days, its location is very central, the rooms are clean and the staff at the reception are very helpful (ask for Rafael!) - Highly recommended.

::I raised two questions. One was why was I charged a tax upfront, upon check in and my colleague who was booked through the same agent did not have to pay. I also asked why a colleague was asked to pay an amount for the front desk staff when he was checking out. The response I received did not address my questions. I am not asking about how the tax was calculated. I AM ASKING YOU WHY I WAS CHARGED AND MY COLLEAGUE WAS NOT?
