::The apartamwnt the i stayed was terrible , the view was for some one's else back yard, the ceiling had mildew, the air condition had no control besides the plugin plugoff, terrible maintenance overall, front the desk show no help. It took me 10 minutes to make reservation to another hotel, and despite loose what I pay in advance it was better go another hotel... avoid it at all cost I would like to give 0 stars.

::Cheap and a great location in the beachfront, but not a high end hotel by any means. Breakfast is ok and included in price. Facilities are outdated and with some minor cosmetic issues.

::Absolutely appaling. These are pictures of our 'luxury' double room. This hotel doesn't even stand for 1 star let alone for 3. The only good thing about it is location and view

::We stayed 2 nights and it was great! To stay with the location is more that excellent! Right in from of the Copacabana beach. There are lots if restaurants near by for different budgets. Close to public transport, that will take you almost anywhere around Rio. The hotel, yes, it is old. But taking that aside, it was excellent!! The room is very spacious, the bed is a super king size, the views are awesome, right in front of the beach, which and gives you a panoramic view of the beach itself. I can't complain about the cleanliness of the bedroom and the hotel in general, because I found it very clean. In our short stay, or bedroom was cleaned very well, so we had a nice clean bed and bedroom when we got back from our sightseeing. The room comes with a large TV with cable, it does have some channels in English, but many though, but you are not paying for TV, since there are lots of things to do in Rio, lots! It also have a safe, that you don't need to pay to use. It has a mini fridge. Our room came with a big balcony. The bathroom was clean. Although just to mention that since the hotel is old, you can see that in the bathroom, so I can suggest that if needs updating, but what can you complain about for the price you paid (the cheapest hotel with a sea view) The breakfast of the hotel it was incredible. I wasn't expecting that to be honest. There was a lot of choices and very nice and tasty food too. And the main waiter was very nice also. The staff, from the moment we arrived was very very friendly and helpful. The reception guy (slim guy) was very good to us, he told us that is better to carry a copy of our passport instead of the original, so he made a copy for us and have is lots of information. There are lots of tours you can book from reception that I wish I took them. The guy that helped us with our bags, Evaldo, was super nice, took our bags to the room and explained and showed us the channels in English, and where is better food. So, in simple words, the Hotel is old yes, but you can't beat the price and service.

::This hotel is old, chipped and cracked, but it does the job. For a very reasonable price, I got a Copacabana beach view balcony that was awesome. Breakfast is very good and the staff are real friendly. Book your Rio tour at the reception, they can get you a better deal than getting it online.
