  I went to Fortaleza on business for two days and decided to spend another two days on my own. The hotel has a very good reputation but I thought service still has a lot to improve. The room is very spacious, comfortable, and offers almost everything you might need. From a hang line in the shower to gift toiletries in the bathroom, the infrastructure is really good. I come from São Paulo, where service is efficient and quick, so perhaps it's not a fair comparison. But my wall hair dryer was broken from the day I arrived. It took them one day to bring me a replacement and despite my repeated requests, they never came around to fixing it to the wall. Room service, mind you I'd ordered tea at night, takes no less than 40 minutes. Apart from that, I had a wonderful stay. To get to the beach, all you do is cross the street. Lots of kiosks for you to snack or eat lunch. Hotel staff is always very friendly and welcoming and the food is good.
