  Os atendentes são simpáticos, o quarto é simples porém confortável. O que me decepcionou foi o café da manhã, muito diferente da foto do Booking e fui na cozinha a noite pegar um copo e a pia estava imunda, com lixo lotado e aberto, além de várias louças sujas. Não voltarei.

  By now you've probably learned that most Google reviews in Brazil our fake, and highly over inflated. You're probably in sao Luis trying to get to the sand dunes, in which case you should completely avoid sao Luis and go straight there. We got a private room and bath in this hostel, the bed was comfortable and the sheets looked semi clean. The water was warm and pressure worked. I wanted to cook, and it was definitely one of the worst hostel kitchens I've ever beared. Pots from the 90s with handles coming off. A stove from the 80s, one burned didn't work. The owners had their own personal back kitchen as I couldn't imagine cooking daily here. The place is very secure, barbed wire fence on every property in the radius. Likely because no one should go out after dark in sao Luis. Do yourself a favor And just book a transfer from the airport to barreirhas than stay in sao Luis.

  I had great time at the New Friends. There is a very calm atmosphereand the place is very nice. There are a lot of people going to barreirihna so it is a good place to meet people and to do together the journey.
