::We had a wonderful vacation in Rio de Janeiro and a great part of the success this trip was was due to staying in Portobay Rio.. The room and hotel where perfect and the views were just extraordinary.. we were blessed with amazing weather. The team in charge were all superstars from the moment we were picked up at the airport to the time of our departure were all so attentive and helpful.. I will forever remember this visit. I donât remember every name but special thanks to Simone and Daniel for all the guidance and professionalism.

::Our deluxe double room on the 17th floors had amazing balcony views from one end of Copacabana to the other and was modern, elegant and incredibly comfortable with a king-size bed. The shower in the open-plan bathroom was hot and powerful enough to pound away any remnants of aching muscles from a long flight. Breakfast was the best buffet weâve had in a hotel so far, with a wide variety of fresh fruit every day, 5 different detox smoothies and juices, real cheeses, homemade muesli, cold meats, and most importantly, a man solely dedicated to pouring hot, fresh coffee into your cup! On the roof, the pool is enclosed by a frameless glass façade offering 270-degree views of Copacabana beach and the ocean to the South, the mountains, and Christ the Redeemer to the East and West. When youâre in need of relaxation, or youâre otherwise short of things to do in Rio de Janeiro, itâs a beautiful setting for a sunset drink! The staff was great â really friendly, helpful, professional, but still relaxed and personable to have a conversation with. We stayed here last July 2, 2015 but unfortunately wasn't able to put a review.

::Best hotel to stay in Copacabana. Excellent staff and the food is AAA+. Make sure you get a room with balcony and view to the beach, it is worth! You will enjoy the best days of your life in Rio. Dont forget to order the food, mignon with aspargus and brownie for desert. It is their best dishes. They also have an amazing service at the beach, very exclusive and professional. Dont expect a very big anf equipped gym, that is not their focus. Just go there to relax and enjoy, you can workout when you get back or you can do some cardio at the beach.

::Stayed here for two nights at the end of October 2019. Great position overlooking Copacabana beach, the room we stayed in was nice and clean with a side balcony with a panoramic view overlooking the beach and Christ The Redeemer which was lit up on a night time. The restaurant also has lovely views of the beach area and the food was good. Nice but small pool on the top floor with a bar area, good place to sit and have a drink on an evening and and watch the world go by! Decent breakfast and polite staff...all in all a nice place to stop when in Rio!
